"Cualquier mes de junio puede empezar a nevar" is a project that is part with the "Friedrich Project" and "Once Upon a Time" of a trilogy of projects on the landscape.
The pieces of the project can be defined in a certain way as non-paintings. What I do is starting from two old stamping techniques (Suminigashi and Ebru) to submerge the paper in prepared buckets, with the movement only of the sheets, paints and liquids make the landscapes shaping.
During the manipulations, the water and oily substances unite or separate on the paper in different densities and opposite contrasts creating the images of the mountains. Bending the sheet fashions the movement of the mounds on which sediments of acrylic matter on washed ink suggest thorny bushes, lichens or the ruggedness of the rockface beneath a veil of frost.
